FTR​​​-​​​WEB 047: Mekhzavod - The Day [Single] (2009, RE, RM 2024)

We continue to fill the drain tank of our Punk / Hardcore releases. After a whole 15 years, they were extracted from the archive contains the damp records of "Mekhzavod" from Samara. And the cherry is on the... Unexpectedly melodic punk ballad with synthesizer (!). In the key of such atypical bands of UK82 & Oi as Chron Gen, Blitz. And, in part, even Egor Letov's Grazdanskaya Oborona from 2000-s.

The composition is taken from the album "Come To My Funeral!" (2009), distributed by the frontman on CDr in a very limited edition, mainly at the gigs. Due to the poor quality of the recording, with the consent of the singer-songwriter Alexey Klokov, it was decided to reissue the most successful tracks of that session as a separate EP + Single. After a thorough professional remastering.
